
Block of tofu | |
200ml oat milk | |
squeeze of lemon | |
100g flour | |
50g vegan cornflakes (Whole Earth Foods do them) | |
pinch of sea salt | |
1 tsp paprika |
And it tastes like chicken. A madness in itself, this one will have all vegans rejoicing🔥 also please do not use Kellogg’s Cornflakes for this recipe. I went with the vegan version from Whole Earth. Share it with a mate who loves a good old scran on some chicken nuggets🔥🔥🔥🔥
1. | Add a squeeze of lemon into a bowl with the oat milk and let it sit for 10 mins. |
2. | Chop the tofu into chicken nugget shapes and make little slits in the surface with your knife. |
3. | Grab a bowl of flour and have a separate bowl of cornflakes crumbled up. in each of these bowls add a pinch of salt, pepper and paprika. |
4. | Dunk the tofu in the flour and then the ‘buttermilk’, followed by coating the tofu with the cornflake mixture. Repeat for all of the nuggets. |
5. | Bake for 15-20 mins on a foiled tray and don't burn the roof of your mouth when you go to eat them too early. |
