Ingredients

2 meat-free burgers (I use either Future Farm or Beyond Meat)
3 tbsp vegan mayo
1 tbsp tomato paste or ketchup
1 tsp onion chutney
5 chives, diced
1 pickle, diced too.
Bunch of fresh chives
1 tomato
2 heads of little gem lettuce
2 vegan burger buns (check the label please)
2 slices of vegan cheese (I use Applewood)
one thing we don't have in the uk that the whole world seems to go on about is the in-n-out burger. It's iconic, but unfortunately, not vegan. if you're after a way of making it completely plant based and simply, then this is the recipe for you. enjoy at your next bbq or fakeaway indoors.

Instructions

1.Mix the mayo, tomato paste, pickles, onion chutney and chives together till it makes a sauce that's gorgeous. Season to taste.
2.Spilt the burger patties in half and shape into balls. You should end up with 4 balls.
3.Smash the burger balls down into a hot pan, making sure the burger doesn't split in half, do this bit gently if you want to.
4.Flip the burgers over after 2-3 minutes. Once flipped, add some vegan cheese on the cooked side of the burger, add a splash of water and cover with a lid. This will help the vegan cheese melt.
5.Toast your buns. You can either toast these on another pan or put them on top of your toaster and toast on the lightest setting.
6.Serve in the following order; bottom bun, sauce, tomato, first burger, sauce, lettuce, 2nd burger, sauce, lid.
7.Eat on sight.
